To inform the agriculture stakeholders on the latest technologies, commodity prices, production, and all other agri-related information is the primary goal of the training workshop entitled ‘Web development and migration into content management System’ held at Felis Resort Complex Davao City Tuesday.
Information Technology Section Chief Lelisa Lascuña said that the training aims to equip the report personnel to create a harmonious teamwork for the construction of content management of DA web in different divisions, sections and DA attached agencies.
She added that it will equip farmer clientele as well as business sector in the country with the needed information about the industry to help boost economic advantage which will lead to a viable sustainable agriculture in the countryside.
The Three-day training was attended by 30 participants coming from DA’s support services personnel including DA’s attached agencies such as Bureau of Agricultural Statistics (BAS), National Meat Inspection Service (NMIS), and Bureau of Plant Industry (BPI).
Resource persons for the training were coming from DA Information Technology Center for Agriculture and Fishery (ITCAF) in Central office Manila.
