This website
manifests the efforts of the Southern Mindanao Agriculture to
be at pace with the emergence of Knowledge Economy.
In the convergence of
Information
Communications Technology
(ICT),
the agriculture sector should adopt a new development approach-the
provision of appropriate information to enhance agricultural
productivity. Our farmers and fishers should have access to technology-based
information so they can decide better what is best for them.
As we work for more effective content build-up in the web, it
is our fervent hope that the ICT
will work well for the benefit of Southern Mindanao's farming
and fishing industries.
I therefore would like to encourage our various stakeholders
to visit and or provide us relevant inputs so we can further
strengthen our DA's National
Information Network
(NIN).
