BFT is a project of DA Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) , it is a barangay-based food depot and distribution system offering affordable safe and quality food products like meat, poultry, fish, vegetables and fruits.

The Cateel National Agricultural High School (CNAHS) in Lambog San Alfonso, Cateel, Davao Oriental recently received planting materials from the Department of Agriculture (DA) 11 as an initial donation for the said school.

This project on upland rice production and postharvest facilities which amounted to P750,000 is part of President Benigno Aquino administration’s  thrust to give livelihood assistance to conflict affected areas. The Aliwagwag Farmers Association (AFMA) is the actual recipient of the project which is set to be turned over next month. 

The 1st Goat and Sheep Techno Forum and Agro-Trade Fair held at the SM Ecoland, Davao City yesterday. Spearheading the ceremonial opening are (from L-R) Dr. Juanito C. Lupiba, OIC Chief, DA Research Division, LDC executive director Manuel Jarmin, City Councilor Marissa Salvador-Abella,   Goat and Sheep Techno Forum and Agro-Trade chief Isidro Albano, GASRA XI President Bella Cariño and  OIC-FOD Rosalinda Mediano.
