Opening this afternoon at SM Lanang Premier: Durian Market.

Let's support our local fruit growers while we boost our immune system with their fresh produce.

Even during the absence of the yearly festivities of the Kadayawan Festival, the Department of Agriculture-XI through the Agribusiness and Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) continue to support the local farmers by helping provide venues and outlets where farmers can sell their produce, especially fruits, directly to the consumers.

With Davao City being classified into Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) on July 1, the Department of Agriculture-XI through its Agribusiness & Marketing Assistance Division (AMAD) continued the ‘Kadiwa on Wheels’ with the addition of its Halal outlets.

After distributing the first tranche of African Swine Fever (ASF) fund assistance to Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental on the last week of July, the Department of Agriculture-XI has also finished distributing the second tranche of the African Swine Fever (ASF) indemnification for the affected hog raisers in Don Marcelino, Davao Occidental, last week.

The current health crisis due to COVID-19
has resulted to cancellation of this year's Kadayawan festivities, which include the Annual Durian Festival, one of
the venue for marketing durian and other tropical fruits during its peak
season.
