This was affirmed by the converging participants from the Provincial Project and Monitoring Implementing Unit of the said province, national government agencies, stakeholders and the project beneficiaries during the assessment of their Provincial Commodity Investment Plan (PCIP) recently conducted by the DA-PRDP Regional Project Coordination Office XI thru the I-PLAN component.
“Through this assessment, we have seen that indeed the PCIP is important. It is a tool used by PRDP where all the needs of the various segments in the value chain of commodities are integrated,” said Ma. Febe Orbe, I-PLAN component head.
The PCIP is a critical tool advanced by PRDP to develop priority commodities in the provinces.
Davao de Oro has already completed eight subprojects under the I-BUILD component amounting to P471.4 M. While under the I-REAP component, a total of P9.6 M worth of three subprojects were completed. | via Janelle Tabalina Flores, DA-RPCO11
