This is in response to the directive of DA Secretary William D. Dar to enhance the dissemination of farm technologies and knowledge through broadcast communication in partnership with a State College or University in the region.
As agricultural extension and information services adapt to the " new normal," the proposed establishment of CRS in DSSC will bridge the gap between the need for information sharing and adherence to physical distancing.
It could also serve as a viable platform for distance learning both for farmers and students.
The DSSC's Development Communication faculty and students will be tapped in CRS's operations while local farmers will also serve as resource persons.
The project targets its inaugural broadcast within the year.
