SOA GRADUATION on SCoPSA | To enhance corn productivity by adopting sustainable adaptive technologies in sloping areas, 450 farmer-graduates in Region 11 recently graduated through the Department of Agriculture School-on-the-Air (SOA) program on Sustainable Corn Production in Sloping Areas (SCoPSA).

“SCOPSA features easy and adaptable methods, and focused on soil and water conservation technologies, soil erosion control, and gully stabilization, in combination with soil fertilization,” said Joedel Leliza, DA-SCOPSA focal person.

In Davao Region, SCOPSA demo sites are located in Governor Generoso and Mati City in Davao Oriental; New Corella and Asuncion in Davao del Norte; and Matanao and Magsaysay in Davao del Sur.
