“DA fully supports the goals of MAMIA and we hope that through this event it will further intensify the collaboration of the manufacturers and distributors of the agricultural machinery industry in Mindanao,” Corpuz said.

MAMIA is an organization that aims to empower and develop the agricultural machinery industry in the country.

“There is a need for us to mechanize to improve the lives of our farmers, it will lessen their postharvest losses and improve their labor productivity,” she said.

She hopes that through this event participants will be equipped with greater knowledge and competence as they fulfill their role to strengthen the industry.

Also, Corpuz led the oath taking of the newly elected officers of MAMIA.
