Regional Technical Director for Operations, Marila Corpuz welcomed the team of PCI Achilles Bargio, the chief of police of Station 7 in Paquibato District.

According to Bargio, he was surprised when he saw the Malasakit Help Desk and lauded DA’s initiative of putting a quality service lane for their clients.

Bargio requested vegetables seedlings for their community which is mostly covered by Indigenous People (IP).

He said that the interventions will be utilized for their program dubbed as “Binhi sa Kaumahan Program”.

“We thanked DA for their immediate response and I recommend the Malasakit Help Desk to everyone so they too will experience the “Aksyon Agad” services of this agency,” Bargio adds.

DA provided 100 assorted seedlings and two boxes of 8 in 1 vegetable seeds to the team.

Through the Malasakit Help Desk, Corpuz said that DA made sure that the interventions needed by the clients will be readily addressed.

“We encourage everyone to come to DA Region if you have some queries and requests related to the agri sector. Our Malasakit Help Desk is available Monday-Friday and the officer of the day will be glad to address your concerns,” Corpuz adds.

In line with President Duterte’s aspirations for a ‘Matatag, Maginhawa, at Panatag na Buhay, the Malasakit Help Desk served as a one-stop window for assistance of the different services and interventions of DA.

Services initially include access to agri-fishery information and data, including those involving registration and accreditation; agri profiling and validation; access to credit facilities, and crop insurance.
