Hannah Sajid received trophies and P30,000 both as Best Story winner and People's Choice Awardee. The rest of the winners received P5,000 and certificates of recognition.

The recently concluded Storytelling #CacaoDavao Experience Awarding Ceremony was held on Monday, December 17 at the Apo View Hotel, Davao City.

God-Levi Santiago who hails from Sta. Rosa, Laguna and Jason Occidental was not able to attend the awarding ceremony due to distance and other important engagements.

Over 150 entries qualified as official entries and narrowed down to Top 40, and Top 20 then the Board of Judges deliberated and selected the Top 6 Finalists as well as the Best Story and People's Choice Award.

DA-XI Regional Director Ricardo Oñate, Jr. leads the handing over of the award and cash prizes. Joining him are industry stakeholders: Davao cacao matriach Charita Puentespina of Malagos Chocolate, Mary Grace Belviz of Rosario Chocolates, and Neil Santillan of MS3 Agri Ventures.

The Board of Judges were: Award-winning graphic artist and film maker McRobert Nacario, Sun Star Davao social media strategist Ace June Rell Perez, and Department of Trade & Industry Information Officer Jenny Grace Mendoza.

The social media campaign which run from August 8 to October 31, 2018 and extended up to November 15, 2018 aimed to promote Davao cacao farms and products and support the bid for Davao Region as the country's cacao and chocolate capital.
