“With that, we are requesting you (LGU partners) to fast track the enabling documents in order for us to give the interventions on time,” Recoter stressed.
Meanwhile, Ma. Febe Orbe, assistant regional director for operations said that the three-day coordination meeting will equip the LGU participants with guidelines and updates of the different banner programs of the agency.
“We would like to be more transparent with the DA programs and projects. We cannot do it alone, we want to work hand in hand with our partner LGU’s for hitting the target of our programs,” Orbe added.
For this year, DA 11 has a total of P1.4 billion budget to be spent for their programs, project and interventions.
The biggest chunk of the allocation for this year is for the Farm-to-Market Road Program which is P400 million, followed by High Value Crops Development Program (HVCDP) with P250.7 million, P180.9 million for the Rice Program, P122.948 million for Bottoms-up-Budgetting (BUB), PAMANA has P112.348 budget allocation, P96.488 million for regular programs, P91.3 million for Corn, P75.645 million for Market-Oriented Projects, P61.1 million for Livestock, P50.330 million for Sajahatra Bangsamoro, P16.201 million for Organic Agriculture, P5.798 for Auto Appropriation and P2.733 million for Agricultural Research.
